A big problem now is for Brazilians who planned to travel for Christmas and New Year's since they can't get their Covid pass anymore, and without that a lot of countries don't allow you in.
This is something that is hurting my family right now, we don't know if we can get our family here to Spain to celebrate with us. If anyone knows of a way to get on the airplane and pass immigration with only the tiny paper vaccination card, I'd love to hear about it.
- simtel20 5y agoI am in Brazil, and I haven't seen any evidence of anyone using anything but their paper vaccine card. When we traveled in October, the airlines were basing their covid checks on the destination country regulations. So to go to the USA it was based on a negative PCR test either in electronic form (so a pdf attachment on an email from the pharmacy/lab) or the printed paper from the test. What is the requirement for Spain?
- showsover 5y agoWe just called the airline (Tap air) and they said that without proof of vaccination you'll most likely get refused entry when landing. Since the situation can change every day it's a bit hard to make any assumptions on if we get 1) on the airplane, 2) past immigration.
