Has there ever been serious research on the safety of "contagious vaccines"? I'm thinking of strains of problematic infectious diseases engineered to be super mild in terms of symptons, and relatively contagious.
Ethical problems and risk of mutations make this a non-starter I guess, but I'm genuinely curious.
- guerrilla 5y ago> Ethical problems and risk of mutations Hopefully there's no direct work on them for exactly those reasons.
- dehrmann 5y agoCertain restrictions and de facto vaccine mandates are also arguably ethically challenging. So... we're already there.

- betwixthewires 5y agoThere's a big ethical difference between those restrictions and releasing an engineered contagious pathogen into the air. It's not really about the "airborne vaccine" itself, its about the fact that the engineering that goes into designing something like that can be used to deliberately kill a lot of people.
