Wow. How low have we come as a society? There is too much material worship and too little purpose in peoples lives. The need to gratify the desires of the mind have overtaken the necessity to understand life and contextualize it in a broader context of existence as a whole. Just think of how much better society would be if all these young people utilize their energy for betterment of society, rather than perverse self gratification. I especially see the inner rot of society slowly bubbling up into the open. Current state of politics / economy / society where wealth worship, cult behavior and severe lack of empathy are the first symptoms. The end result is a gradual decline in quality of life, especially for the poor majority, and the inevitable revolution that comes about when the rich and powerful can no longer keep the tidal wave of suffering at bay using force. And the cycle repeats.
