Show HN: Ejimo – open-source emoji and symbol picker (desktop app)
- albemala 5y agoHey everyone , I'd like to introduce you Ejimo, a project I've been working on recently. Ejimo is a comprehensive emoji and symbol picker. Whether you're a designer, developer or writer, Ejimo makes it easy to find the missing character you need. The app is open source and is available for macOS for free (https://apps.apple.com/us/app/ejimo/id1598944603 https://apps.apple.com/us/app/ejimo/id1598944603). It will be available for Windows and Linux as well soon. You can find the repo here: https://github.com/albemala/emoji-picker https://github.com/albemala/emoji-picker. If you like the project and would like to contribute, you are more than welcome to join! Some of its features: - 3000+ emojis and symbols available - Easily and quickly copy a character with keyboard shortcuts - Fast search experience by name or keyword - Choose between a light and dark theme to match your mood or style - Work offline: Ejimo doesn't require an internet connection, so you can use it anytime, anywhere - Privacy-friendly: Ejimo doesn't collect any personal information from you or from your use of the app If you have any feedback to share, I'd be interested in hearing what you think about Ejimo! And if you have any question, I'll be happy to answer it. Thank you in advance!
- reiichiroh 5y agoNice! Does this include Kaomoji?
- albemala 5y agoIt does not, but that would be a great addition! I was actually thinking about it as well, I'll add it to the roadmap. Thanks for the suggestion!
