Almost no vaccines prevent infection (e.g., rotavirus vaccine). But most reduce/prevent symptoms. In fact, it's still not proven that existing COVID vaccines 'prevent infection'--that is, provide sterilizing immunity. Unless I'm missing something, this 'study' seems to do little more than support that understanding.
