I do not understand this argument of using less of something so beneficial to society instead of focusing on improving the technology to reduce the carbon footprint.
Which relies on investment and users to fund its growth.
It’s not just flying but also meat, cars, plastic, etc. I get that useless consumption is bad, but abstinence is hardly a solution for most problems.
- wackro 5y agoIf you were diagnosed clinically obese and at risk of heart disease would you carry on eating pork pies until you died, or abstain until there is a suitable pork pie alternative? A bad example maybe, but the market isn't the solution to everything.
