> “Organizations are now in a race against time to figure out if they have computers running the vulnerable software” As a client platform engineer for the last couple years, patch management / versioning is one of my primary job duties. Are there cybersecurity “professionals” out there enjoying hefty pay raises for doing a job someone at their organization is doing for them? Perhaps I should change my job title to “Cybersecurity Analyst” and get a extra $30k per year for the same thing I’m already doing.
