Part of me feels like you/we deserve to be ghosted if we submit to unpaid and unreasonable tests and homework. Unreasonable is anything where it only costs one side, for example, or if unduly burdensome on one side. It's like -- you literally told them to not value your time, and now you're going Pikachu face. I have done them in the past, I think, so I'm not above it, but I do think we should call out the incongruous thinking, if that's the phrase.
