New FDA Approved Eye Drops Eliminate the Need for Reading Glasses
- WheelsAtLarge 5y agoI hear this will cost about $80 per month and insurance won't cover it. It seems that in the long run it's many times cheaper to get a pair of drug store reading glasses. I like that the product is there but it's too expensive right now. It needs to get to the sub $10.00 range for me to buy it on a regular basis.
- travisgriggs 5y agoJust to put it in perspective a little: $80 x 12 = $960/year. That’s a few expensive glasses. Apparently they throw in the headaches, red/itchy eyes, and please-don’t-drive for free though. Excited to see advances; I’ll wait til their cheaper and have less side effects though :|
- LinuxBender 5y agoDoes these eyedrops have a "rebound" effect? Meaning, you stop taking them your eyesight gets worse than it was? Curious about the mechanism.
