This seems like a net good thing, on-device detection that informs and gives options to the child (in contrast with the slippery slope of iCloud automatic alerts). I just wish they'd implement such detection for gore too. As a kid, I don't being remember particularly shocked by nudity, but some gore images and videos kids were sharing around back then have actually affected me in a bad way.
