let’s see which of google, microsoft, amazon, ibm, etc. are going to be trust into those online services as an unoptoutable 3rd party. not only will these companies get a firehose of personal information on most residents/visitors, in exchange, this makes it much easier for the federal government to request the data back from them conveniently combined with other 3rd-party data (like location or call records) that might otherwise bring unwanted public scrutiny with it.
