I’d love to read a longform blog post about that. Anything that fits into a tweet has already been said a bunch of times already, and hasn’t made a compelling case that there’s a problem here. I’m pretty sure they only takedown exploit code, not scanner code, but people often choose not to distinguish those conceptually, which makes it quite difficult to have a discussion about it.
