It would either be funny, or kind of awesome, depending on how it's made and who runs it.
A Reddit ran with the seriousness of the Post Office, immune from Congress in most regards, bolstered with the First Amendment, could be quite a thing. An essential public utility, broadly trusted.
One ran the way most things are today? Yeah, laughable.
Anyhoo, yeah. The AD model has major issues.
