Seems wasteful. Use VMs or containers that can be backed-up and transported to other machines. Also, look into automated configuration management because manual meat monkeying is so 1997.
- analog31 5y agoFor better or worse, a lot of it is 1997 technology, for instance, hardware modules of different brands and antediluvian driver installers. And part of the point is not just to know that it can be copied, but that we actually record what the installation process consisted of.
