As much as I’d like to roll down I-5 in an M1 Abrams I think the economics of pulling a shitload of metal out of the earth and moving it around really fast will present significant damping to the system you describe. As for the “lightweight Teslas”, I looked it up and in fact S and X’s are heavier than my Big Truck. Though 3’s are indeed lighter.
