The machine that never dies.
- johnklos 5y agoLiterally. The Amiga 3000, at least, is incredibly easy to recap. Even without all the possible upgrade options, the base machine with 16 megs of fast RAM, two megs of chip RAM and a decent drive on the SCSI bus is wonderfully usable.
- icedchai 5y agoThe Amiga 3000 was my favorite machine growing up. I saved up all summer of 1991 to buy the 16 mhz model and upgrade from my A500. I added extra RAM, a 2 port serial card, extra hard drives, etc. I ran a BBS off of mine when I was in high school. Fun times.
