I - non-native myself - worked with fellows who learned English late in life and sadly to some share from the wrong sources (action movies and rap music, I'm afraid). Naturally, at times they appeared quite immature. Otoh, I had the good fortune to work with some British fellows, which, at times, was quite educational.
