I like booth babes for the same reason I like the bands at certain Apple keynotes, or at the WWDC bash. They're a fun distraction, and they make tech expos a more fun and lively environment than a room full of white nerds would. Our industry needs to include more people, regardless of their technical knowledge. We should not exclude booth babes just because they're not nerds. I'm personally good friends with many girls who do promotion for companies, and I'm grateful for the fact that my industry is becoming something "cool," rather than a asylum for socially inept white nerd men.
