The term "breakthrough case" is a complete misnomer. It's misinformation because it implies that these are somehow rare events.
Coronavirus vaccines don't _prevent_ cases. They somewhat reduce incidence/transmission, and dramatically reduce adverse outcomes.
If you go outside during a storm with an umbrella and still get wet, it's not "breakthrough rain", it's just... rain.
