Your developers already use (the advanced features (linq)) of C# : Easy(ier). C# is dragging a lot of my fellow developers to the functional world. It's fascinating to watch as these developers "get it" finally. I found Scala very close to functional C#. In fact I'm most comfortable now with Scala on the JVM (when i must be there) as Java itself has stagnated for so long, it's no longer fair to call C# a Java clone.
