I have spent a ton of time in Tokyo. I am fascinated by this. I actually suspect they are including the delivery bikes, which are not really the same thing, and the cited study, which I will try and track down, has poor data hygiene.
- TulliusCicero 5y agoHmm, I don’t really see why that wouldn’t count. Do car/truck work vehicles not count for car mode share?
- foobiekr 5y agoBecause they are basically strictly mopeds and not used for ordinary people. The cited study there is unknown because it’s not actually cited.
