"radical candor" sounds like something I would run and hide from. But I'm speaking from a place of complete ignorance.
Anyone have any real-world experience with this particular approach?

- chriskanan 5y agoI first heard the phrase from this book and it now has management training firms to teach the philosophy: https://www.amazon.com/Radical-Candor-Kim-Scott/dp/B01KTIEFEE https://www.amazon.com/Radical-Candor-Kim-Scott/dp/B01KTIEFE...
- dkdk8283 5y agoI read the book awhile ago and practice it extensively in my personal and work life. Being up front and honest about what you want, including what you don’t want, is an incredible force multiplier. Some people can’t handle it and that’s ok with me. It just means we likely won’t work together effectively. I view it as a matter of maturity, we’re all adults here. I don’t pander and I make that clear up front. Almost everyone respects and responds positively.
- marstall 5y agothat makes it sound interesting - thought it was more about critiquing others more directly ..
