Although Fischer achieved the same 4 point margin, Spassky had 3 victories (including the forfeit) in that match, whereas both Lasker and Nepomniachtchi had none.
- AlchemistCamp 5y ago1921 was before 1972, so the magnitude of that blow-out has no relevance to whether or not the match in 2021 was the most lopsided since then.
