- sampo 5y agoDo you need/want the bars of the 3d bar chart to cast shadows? You can turn the shadows off, too.
- seligman99 5y agoSince we're showing things off, I made this in POV-Ray https://youtu.be/KU7V3UkRNy0 https://youtu.be/KU7V3UkRNy0 I actually made it several years ago, probably around 2007, I only re-rendered it and uploaded it to YouTube recently. I always felt there was a rather painful skill ceiling in POV-Ray. Sure, people have done some really amazing things with it, but going from something fairly simple like this to something really impressive required a level of magic and time I could never get out of POV-Ray.
- kingcharles 5y agoGreat choice of music. From the album "Music to Moog By".
- wk_end 5y agoIn the early-mid 90s, on the Canadian children's TV channel YTV, between shows they'd air early 3D animations under the name "Short Circutz". This is definitely giving me similar vibes to some of those - this [1] in particular. Thanks for setting off my nostalgia neurons :) [1] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ScvIbcNV38k https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ScvIbcNV38k
