For example, my church has tremendous programs and opportunities for: * economic status and stability: training at budgeting, job hunting, overcoming addictions -- some of the classes have been shared in joint programs with the NAACP in the US) * aids for refugees, families, volunteering, food aid, service projects, etc (worldwide) * higher-educational opportunities for almost anyone globally with internet access, including groups who are traditionally excluded due to tuition cost or academic experience, knowledge of English, etc, and teachings that really help with family stability, peace/hope, and generall going forward in life. * being a personal mentor and being mentored * etc. It goes on and on.
