Prosocial Capitalism
- rmason 5y agoI'm pretty much an unabashed capitalist and I make no apologies for it. However in discussions with Socialist friends I readily admit capitalism has flaws but unlike them I am not willing to throw the baby out with the bathwater. While I don't agree completely this essay has made me think harder on the subject than I have in a long time. He's got a lot of interesting ideas, especially for those of us doing business in the cloud. Combine it with DAO's which I'm also learning about and they mesh together quite easily. If you plan on all your startups employees being remote why not look at a DAO (or a LAO) instead of an LLC or a C Corp? VC's may turn up their nose at you but long term imho that is to their peril.
