Some context: just like health insurance is pretty much mandatory in Germany, it is pretty much mandatory for every company to have an accident insurance for its employees. This insurance covers workplace accidents (e.g. somebody falls from a ladder), and it also covers accidents on the way to and from the workplace. This judgement answers the question if this applies even if the way to the workplace is within the employees home.
