Brazilian Department of Health is going under a ransomware attack
- zeraphy 5y agoAll data copied and deleted in ransomware attack. The ConnectSUS database has all the information, health history, and much more sensitivity data, documents numbers, profile pictures, vaccine records, and more.
- showsover 5y agoDo you have any sources or an article for this? I'd love to read a bit more about this.
- zeraphy 5y agoReuters[0] was the only english source that I could find, sorry So far, the press release doesn't say about locked files, stolen data, or data loss. I think it's not that bad, and it's strange to capture all that data without someone noticing. The alleged group didn't put a wallet address or showed interesting of selling all the stuff, really strange, and people are saying this "hack" was not a real threat. - toomanydoubts 5y agoAnd yet again Brazilians will pay for the incompetence of those who were supposed to rule for them. Brazilians can't have a single day of peace.
- hgdxy 5y agoThat’s how I feel about all forms of government.
- lfaoro 5y agoWho you think is ruling you in Brasil is just the front-man. The puppet of the real rulers.
- catlikesshrimp 5y agoAnd that is still better than dictatorship, ask Venezuela. Attack individuals, not democracy.
- lfaoro 5y agoYou should ask yourselves: which organizations have an interest to delete the data available at the Brazilian DoH that could incriminate them after Bolsonaro’s censured statement?
