Feels a bit disingenuous to write an article like this and only mention Epstein in passing. The way the legal system kept letting him and keeping secret the details of the allegations against him, for years, rightfully raises eyebrows. Not to mention the almost unbelievable circumstances of his death.
Super easy to point at a few crazies and cry fake when you omit the "conspiracy theories" that have substance.
- legitster 5y agoEpstein doesn't fit the MO that OUR et al are selling. The girls exploited by Epstein were not abducted (and I don't believe any were reported missing).
- colpabar 5y agoIt’s also pretty rich that 1) this comes out during the Ghislaine Maxwell trial, and 2) the article doesn’t even mention her name.
- fractallyte 5y agoBecause the trial is ongoing, and mention of her in the media could have legal repercussions (opinions and biases could become skewed, etc.)
- bleah1000 5y agoWhat are you talking about? The media consistently write articles about ongoing trials. Think about some of the major trials recently, and you will find many, many articles about them before they are done. I mean look at the Elizabeth Holmes trial. There have been multiple articles from Ars Technica before the trial was even over.
- clavicat 5y agoYeah, that’s why no one talked about Rittenhouse during his trial.
