The Amazon is turning into savannah – we have 5 years to save it
- bamboozled 5y agoThis is horrible, it's bad, it's really bad; However I almost bet in 5 years there will be another article about the fact we have 5 years to save it. We've had x years to stop climate change for the last 30 years. The time to save it is now, not in 5 years.
- GekkePrutser 5y agoI don't think they're saying we should wait 5 years, just that we have to finish by then. Which won't happen of course so in 5 years there'll be another article saying we have 5 years to prevent even worse... This is the same with climate change. We're already way too late to do something about it. It's just between bad and terrible now.
- _abox 5y agoPaywalled article so I could only read the first paragraphs. Do websites really think I'll subscribe to read one article??
