I think you should reread my comment. I made no claims, references, or insinuations about racial bias amongst police. That Daniel Shaver was not armed is precisely why he is not relevant to my point. His race does not matter since he wasn’t armed. That 2nd amendment rights advocates did not clamor for justice for Philando is telling and I think motivated by racial considerations. It’s not a right if the police can kill you with impunity when exercising that so called right. Philando was killed with impunity. There is no disputing this fact. It’s irrelevant that he was prosecuted because the fact remains that police killed a man who did nothing wrong with virtually no consequences. By and large police know their misconduct goes unpunished and this is a very bad thing.
