The Hollywood arguments are out of touch. Just because every big movie is a Franchise doesn't mean creativity is dead. But Hollywood has a better business model, there is amazing creativity happening, but new ideas are tried in the places that didn't exist before. On streaming services, and the internet. It's like a startup, the good ideas grow. But Billion dollar movies made for a global audience will no longer take on unnecessary risk. So many of them fail, even with proven formulas. We should just get over looking for Mega Blockbuster movies that ALSO push art forward.
