A better idea is breaking up Amazon, splitting off, at the very least, AWS and WaPo from the retailer/logistics firm.
- muricula 5y agoThe WaPo isn't owned by Amazon, the WaPo is owned by Bezos, who also happens to own Amazon. So I don't think an FTC breakup would really work at all.
- rhizome 5y agoFair enough, that'll just be a necessary evil at least until market/ownership restrictions land in the online video space. There's plenty of uncompetitive Amazon behaviors even without that.
