NZ to create first smoke-free generation with lifetime tobacco ban
- olliej 5y agoI hate smoking with a passion, but this seems flawed. Every historical attempt to prohibit things that are “bad for health”, has merely resulted in increased crime, and biased prosecution that disproportionately impacts minorities and the lower income. It also is only targeting smoking, despite the same arguments being applicable to things like alcohol.
- errantmind 5y agoMore like "NZ to create new black market while also managing to make smoking cool again, as a symbol of rebellion and general recklessness "
