I can't speak for totalZero but I feel the same way. I am not at work to make lifelong friends, I am working so I can eventually retire early and do what I really want (that doesn't have any opportunity to earn income). I don't find it tiring. I do the same thing with my family and more so my spouse's family, who are very religious. I'm used to it.
