- rglover 15y agoYes, but is $50,000 all that bad? Sure, it may not be what your skill bracket is worth, but I think you can live quite well (given that your frugal) on that salary. What's more is that you'll be more motivated to do good work and insure that the business grows so that your salary does as well. There are benefits and setbacks but that's up to the individual to make the choice. If you're going to work at a startup, you should understand the risks.
