On the website it showed a USDP currency symbol. That's a cryptocurrency right? I'm in the US, do I need to pay capital gains if someone sends money to me through this?
- rp1 5y agoYou do need to pay capital gains on gifted asset using the cost basis the gifter acquired the asset at. This is a stable coin though, so if you’re in the US there should be little gain/loss if the stable coin stays stable.
