- pornel 5y agoThat was decades ago. Since then Apple went their own way. Anything of significance has been rewritten or mothballed as legacy baggage. Their open-source efforts were left to wither and die. It's been 14 years since Apple got scared of GPL3 and abandoned everything GNU-related.
