>Smoking or not smoking is one of the simplest expressions of individual liberty In a vacuum, maybe, but what about the individual liberty of others who are damaged by your secondhand smoke? What about the individual liberty of others who have to pay for your health care when you become one of the 2/3 of smokers who die from it? I'm Australian and way more likely to move there to live with this law. When I was there last, I was horrified that they still allow this disgusting antisocial behavior at outside eating areas. It was like stepping back in time, and not in a good way. I honestly could not care less what anybody puts in their body, as long as they keep it to themselves. Unfortunately smokers rarely keep it to themselves.
