Great write-up with good ideas, clear code, and graphic detail. However my brain hurt more than necessary to read it. Two easy improvements could be made: - Make each picture expand to 2x or 3x magnification on hover. We want to see the pixels, but opening each picture on a new page and having to magnify from there is crippling. - Answer the reader's mental question first. Every reader is coming in to see how well the algorithm does against existing options. Have representative pictures at the top of: the original, result of one or two standard algorithms, and result of the best Yliluoma variation you have to offer.
