It feels as if 5 similar articles reach the HN top page every day like this. The same arguments are made, the same rebuttals are made, the same comments are made ad nauseam, every single time, with no apparent conclusion. Are we officially living in a simulation? What's happening?
- cyberge99 5y agoI read this as a parody piece. Perhaps I’m jaded, but My common sense immediately had a rebuttal for each “point”. It also offered no solutions.
- TigeriusKirk 5y agoEasily the lowest signal to noise ratio topic on this site. If I was the mod, I'd ban the topic.
- Karrot_Kream 5y agoI wish I knew but it's definitely degrading the quality of conversation on the site IMO.
