Where they forced to use a specific insurance company? We had something similar but the insurance provider my company had picked where constantly in the news for basically being a con (they only did just enough to not get the authorities after them, but compared to all others they where awful). Also, when HR asks you what your current salary is, for your next gig, you can anchor with a higher salary which is insanely important (I wish it wasnt).
