Amazon outage isn’t just online: Vans and Warehouse Bots aren’t moving packages
- tyingq 5y agoLots of people will have fun in the coming months figuring out things like: - Don't use global endpoints like https://sts.amazonaws.com https://sts.amazonaws.com, use regional ones. - Figure out a workaround for "Route53 won't update" - Oy, CloudFront will only use certs from us-east-1 - What do I do when EventBridge is holding events that it will eventually release when the outage is done, but I've already run that stuff manually. Or "can I run Lambdas in a cron-like fashion without EventBridge?". And so on. It's pretty easy to think you're "multi-region" and miss stuff.
