I agree. I think there is something here, it is just not what proponents are currently saying it is going to be. I think we are clearly still in a protracted “hype cycle” for BTC/ETH/DAO/Web3.0, just like the early internet was as well. We have yet to hit the “trough of disillusionment” that all technologies go through.
