- JoeyBananas 5y agoI feel like the reason Elon Musk cares about brain implants is not because it has potential to help people with spinal cord injuries, its because it's such a sexy sci-fi technology. Im not saying it's a bad thing that they are researching this technology, but I hope it's understood that brain implant chips are probably never going to be a good idea for normal people. The risk of getting something inserted into your brain is enormous.
