Except Israeli is a legal citizenship not a skin color.
- ceejayoz 5y agoI'm of the opinion that anti-BDS laws are unconstitutional, but: The Civil Rights Act of 1964 prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, sex or national origin. You cannot discriminate against an Israeli on the basis of either. You can discriminate against Israel as a state.
- smegsicle 5y agonational origin is different from active citizenship though, isn't it?

U.S. citizens, noncitizen nationals, asylees, refugees, and recent permanent residents are protected from this type of discrimination. There are exceptions if you're, say, working on ICBMs.
