  I mean sure, but do you really feel like that’s necessary for someone to be motivated to do a good job. IMO there’s plenty of incentive without that.

    Well you’re completely wrong. The vast majority of a CEO’s compensation is tied to the success of the company (often >90% comes in stock). It’s the difference between life changing money (early retirement, vacation anywhere any time, etc).
