Wow, some of this stuff is truly incredible. You have "activist groups" assisting human traffickers, that is very surprising (these groups are very suspect, the person who led one of the largest "activist group" in Calais was having sex with migrants...apparently this is rife). You have someone who works for a nonprofit claiming they are a journalist when they are, unsurprisingly, imprisoned for doing things they shouldn't be doing. The author describes the danger of Libya at great length but the implied solution is: just let everyone come in...ofc, makes perfect sense. Just generally, is it a good idea to enter a country that is in a state of war in order to illegal migrate to another country (which, btw, has very open routes for people to seek asylum legally)? No, it is not a good idea.
