  Does not apply here. Goodenough is not holding back advances under the pretense of "can't be done". In fact, since maybe the time of the Manhattan Project, I'm hard pressed to think of a prominent scientist or physicist who has.

      The article is a counter example to the comment. We don’t need for it to be true, we simply need to be open to learning and accepting new ideas at any age. Believing Max Planck’s Principle to be a certainty is an example of his principle in action.
