All those pictures, yet none of them show the underside of any of the blocks.
- samwillis 5y agoThere is one photo that shows a frame stacked above another as though they are interlocking. So I think they do.
- agumonkey 5y agoWhat I want to know is how mechanically sound the interlock is and how durable it is.
- hjkl0 5y agoIn the plastic versions, there is no mechanical connection. The boxes just sit on top of each other, the pegs keep them aligned with little play, but you can pretty much just pick up the top box and the bottom one will stay in place.
- agumonkey 5y agoSo it's semi practical (alignment) and mostly aesthetic..
- jacquesm 5y agoYou can see the thick base underneath the drawer.
- mkl 5y agoThe base is thicker, but still thinner than the height of the pegs on top. However, there's a hidden extra layer between the drawer and the base: https://www.johnlewis.com/lego-4020-wooden-2x2-desk-drawer/p5795941 https://www.johnlewis.com/lego-4020-wooden-2x2-desk-drawer/p...
